Our Services!

Service Calls and Labor Rates

Our Service Call prices vary depending on service area and rough mileage from our shop located in Susanville, CA and are a one time fee.

0-10 miles:

99.95

  ○ This includes Diagnostics and travel as well as a 30-day repair Warranty.

10-20 miles:

109.95

  ○ This includes Diagnostics and travel as well as a 30-day repair Warranty.

20+ miles (To Greenville/Doyle):

119.95

  ○ This includes Diagnostics and travel as well as a 30-day repair Warranty.

From Greenville to Quincy & Doyle to Portola:

169.95

  ○ This includes Diagnostics and travel as well as a 30-day repair Warranty.

From Eagle Lake area to Alturas:

169.95

  ○ This includes Diagnostics and travel as well as a 30-day repair Warranty.

Portola, Quincy and surrounding areas :

199.95

  ○ This includes Diagnostics and travel as well as a 30-day repair Warranty.

Alturas and surrounding areas:

199.95

  ○ This includes Diagnostics and travel as well as a 30-day repair Warranty.

Additional Appliances:

50/per

   ○ All additional appliances cost an additional $50 for diagnostics per appliance to offset labor costs.


Other Services

These are other services we provide that may not fall under that "Service Call" Category.

In Shop Service:

50/per

  ○ Starting January 1st 2024 all in shop service will be a $50 service fee per appliance

○ This includes diagnostics and disposal if necessary as well as freon recovery for refrigeration units.

○ If appliances are not picked up within 90 days of contact upon repair completion, we reserve the right to resell the appliance after the 90 days.

Installation, Disposal, & Delivery:

○ All appliance Installations incur a service fee for the area located and a $157.95 labor fee.

○ All appliance Disposals incur a $40 disposal fee for additional travel.

○ All Deliveries incur a $40 Delivery fee.

Part Orders:

  ○ All part orders are subject to California and Local sales tax and should arrive within 2 weeks of order. We may contact you if there are delivery issues.

Used Appliance Sales:

  ○ All used appliance sales are subject to California and Local sales tax. Costs of appliances vary but include installation.

  • Appliances sold in-store and Delivered  (along with disposal of existing unit) by Ken's Repair Personnel will incur an additional $40 Delivery fee to offset the cost of Labor. 

New Appliance Orders:

  ○ All new appliance orders are subject to California and Local sales tax and payment is due Upon Ordering of unit. Costs of appliances vary. Contact us for more information!!!

  • Appliances removed  or delivered by Ken's Repair Personnel will incur an additional $40 Disposal/Delivery fee to offset the cost of Labor.
  • All  new Appliances Installed by Ken's Repair Personnel will incur our standard installation fee (See Installation,Delivery, and Disposal Section above)


Disclaimers:

These are some things to keep in mind when scheduling services with us, these are here so we can not only serve our community better but also so we can stick around to perform those services!

Payment:

  • We accept Cash, Check, and Card transactions.
    • Bounced Checks incur an additional $50 charge on top of the due balance

Parts and returns:

 There are no returns on electrical or special-order parts 

Appointments:

  

● All appointments are made at an approximate time, your time slot may not be fully accurate depending on previous jobs and other complications we have during the day.



Service Call Disclaimers:

  •  All service Calls are due upon The First Visit regardless of:
    •  If that appliance is repairable or not, this includes but is not limited to; all diagnostics on machines who’s parts are discontinued and diagnostics where customer decides to replace machine rather than repair.
    • If our services were no longer needed and the appointment was not cancelled. 
      • Failure to pay may result in refusal of future services.
